American Arium Offers New ARM(R) JTAG Emulator
TUSTIN, Calif., Nov. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- American Arium, an industry leader
in software debug and integration tool development, today introduced the
GS-1000, Arium's newest emulator for the ARM market. The emulator offers
superb run control and a number of unique features, including a single window
for viewing memory-mapped I/O devices and a JTAG rate of up to 20 MHz.
Packaged with Arium's flagship SourcePoint(TM) software interface, the debug
solution supports full ARM® and Thumb® instruction sets and is designed
for use with today's most popular compilers.
"While many of our ARM customers love our debugging interface, some of
them feel they don't need trace capability," said Todd Selbo, Product
Marketing Manager. "With the GS-1000, we can give them just the features they
want at an attractive price point."
The GS-1000 supports the full instruction set for ARM9/ARM9E, including
the 920T, 922T, 940T, 946E-S, and 966E-S and is designed for use with ARM ADS
1.1 and 1.2 as well as other tools employing the elf/dwarf2 file format. The
GS-1000 has been developed to support Intel® XScale(TM) processors,
coinciding with the release of the upcoming version of American Arium's
SourcePoint(TM) software at the end of the year. Free upgrades will be
supplied to customers who have purchased units within 90 days of the release.
The GS-1000 emulator, coupled with an ARM personality probe and the
SourcePoint(TM) debugger, starts at $4,000. The product is available now.
